Software Engieer

We are looking for an experienced “Software Engineer” for high quality system and software development in the field of GNSS positioning and navigation.
Your Challenge:
Your challenge includes system design and analysis, software design and development, and project work. In particular:
- Software design using state-of-the-art system concepts
- Ensuring interoperability with existing and planned OHB Digital Solutions products
- Implementation and improvement of the software architecture
- Software / hardware integration
- Implementation of new functions
- Code review, maintenance and testing
- Support release and build processes
- Mentoring junior members of the team
Your Qualification:
- Successfully completed technical education (HTL, FH, TU) in software development, electrical engineering, telematics, computer science, geodesy or similar fields
- Sound knowledge (at least 3+ years) in object-oriented software development, especially in cross-platform C++ (14 or newer)
- Experience with Git, ticketing, code commit and review process
- Reliable and independent work ethic
- Experience with shell scripting, Python and continuous integration is a plus
- Experience in document oriented databases is a plus
- Experience with GNSS based applications and algorithms is a plus
- Knowledge and experience in signal processing is a plus
- Excellent analytical thinking and enthusiasm for solving complex problems
- Ability to think creatively and good problem solving skills are highly desirable
- German and English (European level C1 preferred)
