Site Reliability Engineer - Container Platforms (f/m/d)

The Container Platform team is in charge of building, testing and operating our Drei Container Platform (DCOP) based on Kubernetes for internal stakeholders.
In this position you are responsible for actively developing and operating the platform based on our internal customers’ needs, onboard new application together with services teams and be an advocate for the platform within the company. We work with SRE Principles.

Aufgaben:

• Design, develop, operate, teach and advocate the platform to internal customers
• Define, implement and monitor our platforms SLIs and SLOs
• Cont. Monitor and Optimize the platform
• Handling of tickets and assigned issues
• Reduce Toil and automate repetitive tasks
• Improve Developer and Operation Experience for our internal customers
• On call duty

Anforderungsprofil:

• Completed technical education (HTL, FH, Uni)
• 2 years of IT experience, preferred in IT infrastructure or telecommunications
• High interest or first experience in Kubernetes
• Developer Experience with at least one language of (java, .net, python, go)
• Understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
• Interest in Platform Design (Security, Load Balancing, Automation, Monitoring)
• Fluent English skills, German is an advantage

We will agree your salary based on your qualifications and experience in line with the market. The gross annual salary according to the collective agreement for telecom companies is at least € 36.395,- (40 hours/week). Experience shows that the actual salary is at least € 52.000,-.
