R2R Asset Account Specialist (f/m/d), Kundl, Tyrol, Austria

30,000! That is the number of line changes we process In Global Master Data per month. The Record to Report (R2R) Master Data Specialist provides. Support the business within a country with complex analysis, reporting, forecasts etc. (typically very large to large revenue) and provide expert advice within a core FRA process/ area/ technology.

The R2R Specialist is responsible for the proper execution of Statutory Accounting processes and accurate reporting of financial information to all users of information in accordance to local GAAP and policies. This role ensures that systems, documentation, compliance and reporting are in place and leads continuous improvement projects to provide highly effective and efficient end-to-end processes to the Novartis divisions.

Your key responsibilities:

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide analytical support to managers in matters related to FRA activities, decision making and general projects.
  • Assist more senior colleagues in providing analysis in order to support financial, reporting and accounting processes.
  • Works on the bridge between IFRS, Statutory and Tax P&L and Balance-Sheet.
  • Contribute to the preparation of analysis and reports with particular emphasis on accuracy, compliance and timeliness of data provided (i.e. reports on profit and loss activity).
  • Support the preparation of reports on relevant facts and figures findings for internal and external reporting in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of accurate and timely fixed asset information in the fixed asset register and provide support on the general ledger as required.
  • Provide assistance to Finance Projects at country or BU level.
  • Collaborates with key stakeholders, including accounting authorities/auditors and corporate tax.

Minimum requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:
Essential:

  • Education: University level degree in Business Administration/ Economics/Finance or part-qualified Chartered Accountant
  • Experience: 2-3 years of financial experience, with in-depth functional expertise
  • Demonstrate ability to work optimally in a multi-national, matrix organization
  • SAP expertise
  • Detail oriented, professional attitude, and reliable
  • Project Management exposure advantageous
  • The position requires a self-driven, diligent, compliance mindset

In accordance with Austrian law, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary as stated in the collective bargaining agreement. For this position the minimum salary is €54,788.30 per year (on a full time basis).
