Java Software Developer (m/w/d)

Our client is a subsidiary of an Austrian major bank and is looking for an employee with the following qualifications:

Your hardware and software
We are looking for a candidate who has several years of practical work experience (at least three years) in software development using Java, JavaEE, CSS, ReST, GIT, SQL, Spring, as well as Angular or JavaScript. You should have a high level of abstraction with a quick comprehension ability to solve complex issues. You should have experience working in distributed or hybrid teams and have the ability to work independently while familiarizing yourself with complex systems.

• Completed IT education (HTL, University of Applied Sciences, University)
• Results-oriented and committed to performance
• Excellent communication skills and enjoy working in a team
• Experience in software development projects with agile working methods (Scrum)
• Experience with design patterns, particularly in the Java environment

Your tasks
As a member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, improving, and optimizing modern architectures (e.g., Microservices) with a diverse technology stack, such as Java with Spring. Using tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and Cloud Native technologies, you will develop business applications for our clients. In challenging technology projects, your expertise will play a significant role in the project’s success. You will be responsible for your area of work, colleagues, and mentoring younger team members while working in a cross-country Scrum team. Additionally, you will be responsible for automating complex business processes to maintain high-quality standards.
