If so then we are seeking:

Trustees for the Multi-Academy Trust BoardThis is an opportunity to contribute to communities across York, Scarborough and Hull by becoming a Trustee at the 15-school Hope Sentamu Learning Trust. Board meetings are held either at the Trust Head office in York or via Zoom. The Trust has close links to the Church of England’s Diocese of York but applicants of all faiths and of none are welcomed.
We are currently seeking applicants with the following skills to help the board in its role to support the Chief Executive Officer while ensuring that the Trust meets its compliance objectives as detailed within the Academy Trust Handbook (

  • a non-executive director/trustee with board level skills, and preferably committee chairing experience, in finance/accountancy and/or audit,
  • a non-executive director/trustee with board level skills in educational improvement and performance, and/or pupil wellbeing,
