Application Engineer Battery Test Systems (Dept.: PB_A)

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Application development for test systems from battery cells to battery pack in independent customer and development projects of the business segment
• Support and troubleshooting in complex systems at customer sites
• Development of standard SW applications according to requirements
• Close collaboration with System Line Mager, Solution Engineering and System Development
• Assist in creating and reviewing proposals for standardization of system architectures
• Collaboration in the creation of system and product specifications
• Support with application knowledge for sales and service activities
• Conduct training of internal and external participants

YOUR PROFILE:

• Completed studies (FH/TU/HTL) in the field of electrical engineering, automation technology or communication technology
• Relevant professional experience in the field of automation of test runs in laboratories (preferably for battery testing)
• Practical work experience in the field of battery testing
• Experience with test procedures with a focus on Li-Ion batteries
• Good programming and IT skills (Visual Basic, C#, communication protocols)
• Systematic and analytical way of working
• Good communication skills in German and English, both written and spoken
• Good comprehension and system understanding
• High customer and application orientation
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the working time

Annual Remuneration: Due to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act we are obligated to state the annual gross remuneration (full-time) for this position as a basis for negotiation: €54,600.00. We will, in any case, offer market-conforming payment taking qualifications and professional experience into account.
