ES EMEA PDC Schrems Plant has an opening for an

Analyst SCM Production Planning (m/f/d),

located in Schrems, Austria.

Primary function of this position:

Plan and ensure a smooth and economical production process according to the customer demand with the given and (largely) unchangeable capacities.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Plans production orders for machines or groups of machines to ensure on-time customer deliveries.
  • Deals with queries from the customers (Eaton internally and third party) and ensures the material availability.
  • Analyzes optimal placement and velocity of materials required in the manufacturing and distribution process.
  • Ensures product availability through inventory administration activities such as demand planning, stock optimization, and monitoring the age of the product. Inventory levels are set to meet customer service requirements with a minimum amount of inventory.
  • Creates an overall production plan over a specified time horizon which includes a list of part numbers, quantities, and due dates.
  • Evalutes of capacity, demand and material availability of the operation to ensure an effective supply and demand balance.
  • Uses qualitative and quantitative methods to predict short-term incoming demand for use as an input into the Sales, Inventory, & Operations Planning (SIOP) process.
  • Creates IT-tickets for SAP process improvements and is collaborating with the IT-support for their solutions.
  • Calculates economical batch sizes using a standardized formula to achieve inventory targets and cost out.
  • Calculates safety stocks for the desired service level and reduces dead stock inventory as well as Excess & Obsolete.
  • Creates inventory forecasts and provides comments on deviations of actuals vs. forecast.
  • Engages in projects for continuous improvement (like phase in/phase out, technical changes, cost out…).
  • Supports Eaton Six Sigma acitvities and assessments for category Material Flow.

Qualifications

Education and experience:

  • Completed technical or commercial eduction (HTL, HAK, etc.)
  • 2 years of professional experience in a similar position, ideally in a manufacturing company

Technical knowledge:

  • Advanced ERP skills (SAP)
  • MS Excel knowledge
  • MS Access knowledge
  • Forecasting, demand planning, scheduling, and inventory management tools and concepts knowledge
  • Analytical techniques

Soft skills:

  • Solution oriented and logical thinking
  • Excellent problem-solving skills in complex and demanding situations
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
  • Fluent in German and English

Depending on the qualification, we offer a salary according to the Austrian collective bargaining agreement for the electrical and electronics industry in the relevant employment group. The salary for this position is above the collective agreement and, depending on training, qualifications and professional experience, is min. EUR 33,000 gross annually.
